There are some really fantastic photography exhibits in Philadelphia right now, all related to contemporary Philadelphia photographers from the 1960's to the present, including Emmet Gowin, Ray K. Metzger, Sol Mednick, Andrea Modica, Sarah Stolfa, and Zoe Strauss, as well as a very promising first exhibit at PPAC of emerging Philly photographers. Huge kudos to go out to Peter Barberie, Liz Spungen, Martin H. McNamara, and Sarah Stolfa for co-ordinating this city wide photographic experience. Visit these four exhibits and you could almost qualify for a Masters Degree in Contemporary Philadelphia Photography!
